The present work aims to report the importance of physiotherapy in rehabilitation process elderly people with sequelae stroke, a disease that is responsible for many deaths and leaves sequels. Physiotherapy after stroke should start as soon possible, faster patient stimulated, his recovery will be, view improving quality life recovering lost movements. It be used various physiotherapeutic techniques such electrothermal therapy, kinesiotherapy, hydrotherapy aimed at strength mobility order make more independent their activities, helping maintain mental health returning routine. can obtain several benefits depending also on patient’s will, family support multidisciplinary team composed doctor, nurse, physiotherapist, speech therapist, nutritionist psychologist.
